Tallstar approached Stealthfur. "Stealthfur, Today I am trusting you with mentoring my apprentice, Shadowstar's son Shadepaw. I have to do something today and I assume you will take very good care of him. He is, after all, Shadowstar's son and if a single hair on his pelt is out of line when I return, I will make sure personally that Shadowstar knows of it." he nodded to Shadepaw, and he came running over. "Bye uncle Tallstar," he meowed, and trotted over to Stealthfur.

Shadepaw shook his pelt of dust and then decided to listen to Stealthfur's advice and stratigize. He was smaller than Stealthfur, so he would have to somehow use that to his advantage. He darted under Stealthfur, raked his sheathed paws down his belly, and scrambled out to the other side before Stealthfur could drop his weight and crush him. "How was that?" he asked hopefully.
