Moving a sprite

Hi All,

I want to move a sprite up and down in the Y but dont want to change the rotation of the sprite (so it remains horizontal). I know that I can click on the 'don't rotate at all' box above the scripts window but how do I use the 'move' command to move to sprite in the Y when the spite is horizontal?

Help appriciated,

G_O.

Re: Moving a sprite

Ginger,

You should be able to set the direction to zero, then do a Move 10 Steps. When rotation is off you can still "point" the sprite in any direction, it just doesn't appear to point up or down.

Re: Moving a sprite

Better yet, just use the "change y by ..." block
