Pick a password that sticks in your mind, but one that nobody else knows. Your social security number can be pretty good. Never tell anyone any password. And if you must write it down, don't put the username anywhere near the password.

Social security numbers are really bad passwords, as there are hundreds of people who have access to them. One heuristic I have heard for making up passwords that are easy to remember but hard to guess is to take a sentence that you can easily remember, then take the first one or two letters from each word. For example, "I am the very model of modern major general" becomes "iatvmommg".

Remember to log out of scratch when you are using a computer that others have access to. I suspect that a lot of the complaints of "hacking" are actually due to open accounts being left running.

Somebody hacked into my account as headbanger and its some Russian guy. Not only that, but he also changed the password so now I can't get back in it. I'm really mad.

You never know. If you get a new project it might just be a family member who forgot to log on their own username and added a project to yours by mistake. Just log off each time you come off Scratch

I never log off either but I don't worry because I use Firefox and it comes with password protection. I highly recommend Firefox instead of Internet Explorer or Safari.

change your password as much as possible, if you can't then make another account (do a long password in a different language like telagonahalamo or tagitagikitefakalavelave, or if you dont knnow a foreign language make something else up like euisyhtdfu24125845)
