Help! My Scratch files got deleted!

I was installing the new version of Scratch, and I uninstalled the last version, and the projects I had in progress got deleted! What do I do? Can I recover them?

Re: Help! My Scratch files got deleted!

Definately contact the Scratch team to be sure, but I'm afraid they are probably gone.  The 1.1 uninstall program has a nasty bug which deletes all your projects, if they are stored in the usual Program Files/Scratch directory.  It's been discussed several times on the forums here.

                               ...it's not a bug, it's a feature!  big_smile

http://i52.tinypic.com/5es7t0.png I know what you're thinking! "Neptune! Get rid of those filthy advertisements and give us back the Zarathustra siggy, you horrible person!" Well, don't worry about it, the Zara siggy will be back soon, new and improved! ^^ Meanwhile, just do what the sig tells you to. >.>

Well, that's my way of saying that something unexpected is not necessarily something to be removed.  But in this case, having all your files deleted is not only unexpected but quite unpleasant.
