Yet another auto-censor glitch

It truly is. When I tried to post a comment:

from Slumdog movie... sung in Hindi, language spoken in India. Yes, it is better than Pussycat Dolls

The automatic censorship didn't let it through. It's probably because of *****cat Dolls - but this strange.

It is just a simple filter...it's going to make mistakes.  It looks for censured words, even inside other words, so it's going to have a certain number of false identifications.  But it pretty much has to look inside words or people would get around it just by adding a couple of characters in front or in back of the censured word...for example aaaXXXXaaa where XXXX is the censured word.

It might be a fun thing to try and design a smarter filter using Scratch.  Just don't post it to the website with a list of real censured words...use a fake set.   smile

No wai, Scratch doesn't have regular expressions onboard.
Maybe adding exception list to the system could help a bit....
