Costume Naming Bug

The costume tab won't let me name costumes what I want (this really happens when I try and number them).

Re: Costume Naming Bug

When I number them, like 1, it turns to 11, is that what you meant?

Re: Costume Naming Bug

That's weird. That happens to me, you know that costumes are already numbered though right?

Yeah, I just end up with imported images that are like 234939r/29r93.jpg and I want to change that

Re: Costume Naming Bug

It looks like it only messes with the name when you try to set it to a number of some sort.  Try putting a letter at the start, like "C1, C2, C3" and it seems to work fine.  A strange bug!

Re: Costume Naming Bug

Actually, I think this was supposed to be a feature, but it's quite annoying.

Re: Costume Naming Bug

I had this happen when I wanted to switch number names, put things in a different order.  The costume numbers kept going up as I tried to change them, instead of taking on the number I wanted.  Renaming as c1, c2 etc. worked.

Re: Costume Naming Bug

This is because of how scratch handled sprites named the same thing. As you know, this wouldn't work, so if there is already a 'cat' costume, and you make another and name it 'cat,' it renames this one 'cat2.' In terms of straight numbers, it will shift the entire number around to be the next highest consecutive unique costume name. It seems to be a bug, but really it is necessary.
