because super shield is only activated when he's protecting someone, hence his name Vanguard. The super endurance is all the time, so if he like gets pwned in the face, he wouldnt be that hurt from it, but physics still apply. Like if an I-beam slams into him, it'll send him flying still but he wont break any bones or anything.

Before the door closes he notices people talking by the front desk and the doors close. After a minute magnus is on the 23rd floor trying to find 237, His room number. STepping around a corner he appraoches a door with metal numbers saying 237 and he stick the key in the slot and the door opens
