Scratch

I think the scratch team should try to do this with variables:
Turn them into normal sprites, but there is a button in their editor saying something like Select area for variable display so you can draw a big circle and set the area to the middle so you would have a circle with a variable in it that can move. And it would also help if you could display plain text variables and pick the font you want.
