Scratch is open source this has been suggested multiple times, read the license (even though I havn't read it I already know the rules.) It will NEVER happen.

Yea, I remember one of these topics and it was suggested and apparently you didn't see.

Oh, this is stupid... So, how many songs you have "illegally" downloaded? Instead of disabling download option (someone who knows what to do will get it anyway), teach people to give a credit! This is free community, and projects are open-source. If you want to make sure yours is yours, watermark it (like I watermarked BWOG's signature with "filo5's graphic shop").

I think the option would be nice, but it is a bit too restricting. There si one thing though: suppose you made a brilliant sprite that had three hundred costumes and the sprite was really high quality. You wouldn't want people stealing the sprite and not giving credit, you know. You can beg people to give you credit (though most people wouldn't even want people to use their sprite), but there isn't the guarantee that they will actually bother.
The option would be nice.
