He didn't know what was happening to the tom, but he felt sorry for him and disgusted with Tallstar. "What just happened here?" he asked Stealthfur, irritated, and narrowed his eyes.

Flameriver bared his fangs, making an attempt to catch Tallstar's neck with his teeth again. He triumphed, although he was in pain - Tallstar's pelt was all torn and tattered after his claws.
