Can I join NOW? I've read one of the graphic novels (Can't find any of the actual books, I'll ask my friend to borrow one. The one I read was about the house cat that joins the clans.

The Clans work like this: in each Clan there is a leader. he/she gets 9 lives from StarClan, which is like cat-heaven. The leader...well...leads. The leader chooses a deputy, who is second in command. If the leader looses all of their lives, the deputy becomes leader. then there is a medicine cat. the medicine cat uses berries and herbs to heal cats. Medicine cats are FORBIDEN to have mates....

Ok, there are four clans, ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, and Shadow clan. Each clan has leader who is given 9 lives by StarClan(Their spirtual ancestors) an the suffix -star. When a kit is born, they are given the suffix -kit at the end of their name. When they become an apprentice, they are give the suffix -paw, once the become adults, they choose a permenatn suffix unless they become leader of a clan. If a cat becomes leader, they do a ceremony where they are given their 9 lives. That's the basics.
