I just saw this project: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Tux/605077 and I think it has some very good ideas. I would like it if these blocks could possibly come in Scratch 1.5, maybe?

well basically, all of them are useless and/or unnecesarry from my point of view. you can get the same effects by using existing blocks and features
But scratch isn't perfect and neither is anything in this world. Any little thing may be signifacant thing for scratch with any little thought.

Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.

I am thinking which i earlier, maybe so years ago proposed classifications of sprites so if you have hundreds of sprites but they all do the same thing and their all moving, Lets classify them here as "Boxes" so have one (player?) sprite run around and try to get to a goal and (if <touching (class [Boxes] ) > ) broadcast lose? Instead of having to or touching box or touching box2 or touching box3 etc.

Those blocks are all very unnecessary. Really, you can do anything you want with scratch, but that comes with the ability to properly use BYOB.
