Owlstar headed for the ShadowClan border. He swiftly rushed through the forest, jumping over logs and puddles and bushes. His size gave him an advantage to the forest cats - he could jump over a large bush in one leap. Suddenly, a smell of kittypet attracted his attention. "What is this?" he sniffed around and ran to where the smell was strongest. "ShadowClan!" he gasped, for the kittypet wasn't the only thing he smelled now - the spirit of a ShadowClan warrior hung in the air. Owlstar gasped and launched forward to pursue the warrior. He knew they would kill the kittypet.
