''i'm FINE, tigerfang...'' she hissed, even though she was bleeding and she was obviously in extreme pain. she kept on walking towards sunclan. she wanted to run away. from everything. even if that meant leaving tigerfang behind.

"No, he won't get us!" Hawkkit whispered back,"I got an idea!" Hawkkit grabbed a branch abbover, and shook it. "That way!" she whispered, pointing in the other direction, paddeing carefully to not make the branch shake, she started off in another direction.

Tigerfang sighed. "I'm sorry." he whispered. He shuddered- Hawkfoot was going to have a fit.

Thicketfur got his balance on the branch. He looked around, and saw the kits moving position. "I've got you now, you tasty squirrels," he meowed. He purred to himself.

Cobrakit followed. "Hurry, he's coming!" he urged, moving ahead.

Hawkkit meowed,"Go on! Don't get caught!" Hawkkit padded down above Thicketfur's head. She landed on his head, paused, then bounced back up onto another branch. "Can't catch me!" she called out, jumping to another tree.

Whitetalon trekked through the undergrowth, tracking her prey. The deer moved along ahead of her, it was too fast for a vampire, let alone a cat. She stopped to catch her breath, when she spotted Thicketfur climbing a tree. Whitetalon padded over to him. "What are you doing Thicketfur?" she meowed.

Thicketfur shook his head. "Follow those kits!" he meowed to Whitetalon. He followed Hawkkit, Cobrakit, and Graykit as the ran away. Graykit snagged his tail on a twig sticking out of one of the branches, and fell. He barely held on with his claws, his hindlegs thrashed in the air, searching for a foothold. "go on without me!" he begged.

Tigerfang gasped. "Whitecloud!" he ran over and picked her up. "You need to see a medicine cat, I don't care what you say." he demanded, and started in the direction of EagleClan.

whitecloud glared. ''i'm FINE!'' she spat. she stood again and limped a few more tail lengths before falling again.

Hawkkit flashed by Graykit, freeing his tail. "Run!" she mewed, as she landed on a lower branch. She took off to another branch.

Graykit squealed. "I changed my mind! Help me! Don't go on without me!" he thrashed harder, trying to get back on the branch. He slipped, and landed on Whitetalon's head. "Don't eat me! I'm not a squirrel!" he begged.

Tigerfang's ears drooped. "Ok. I see." he murmured, and left for EagleClan. Whitecloud was just overreacting, he thought. She would come back. She would forget all about this, and they could be friends again.

Rosewing licked the top of Shardkit's head. "She's a strong little kit," she purred. Icekit squirmed away from Cresentkit, not wanting to be squished. She began to squeak and mew. "It's ok," Rosewing purred, gathering Icekit with her paws.
