whitecloud ran out onto the thunderpath, waiting. nothing came.she heard a roar in the distance. THE MONSTER IS COMING! all her instincts told her to run, to not repeat what happened before, but she wouldn't give in. she stayed put, the hot black surface burning at her paws, and the choking smells making her cough.
