Hi all, i need help and advice i'm working on the TU100 'MY DIGITAL LIFE' course through the open university and i'm stuck on the sense question.
so here goes: for the second part of the question we are asked to populate a set of lists in sense from lists of sensor data that had been given to us in notepad form, the problem i'm having is trying to populate the lists with the data; transfering the contents of the note pads into the sense lists.
In the text book we were given it says to do this by using an append block:
append (pop up and get input) to file
now ive tried this and modified it to:
append pop up what is the file name? and get in put to file testLog.txt
i attached a when clicked and clicked away:
A red border appeared around the script and nothing happened!
I've been trying to do this for a week now with no succsess, what am i doing wrong and how do i fix it?
i'm using Windows Vista and Word 03 if that helps.
So any suggestions?

No, I don't have any suggestions right away, though maybe soon I will.
Anyway, in Scratch, there isn't an append bock, which means that your using a modded version of Scratch. Could you tell me the name of the mod?
