You don't need flash to look at profiles on 2.0
and download flash it takes only a few minutes and its worth it
Make it in Scratch! because it's cooler when it's made in scratch

Yep, that's right! To be able to make Scratch 1.4 read the Scratch 2.0 format, we would've needed to have a time machine when we made Scratch 1.4, so we could go into the future, understand the new 2.0 file format we would be inventing 3 years from then, and then add the ability to read it in to Scratch 1.4.
Alas, no time machines over here at MIT that I know of (but we did throw a party for time travellers once! )
However, I did hear of some Scratchers working on a way to convert 2.0 projects to 1.4 - not sure how that's going though.
Possibly using Kurt. Use either mine or blob's 2.0 to ScratchBlocks converter, then use Kurt to convert the ScratchBlocks to an SB file.
