I think 'Fairy' type sounds silly... If it was 'Light', 'Magic' or even 'Faerie', I don't think I'd mind as much but... 'Fairy'? Puts me in mind of itzy-bitzy girls with wings and wands... NO, NINTENDO. NO.

Most likely a translation of a Japanese type, so that probably won't be what it's called. If it's even legit.
