First, I feel like I need to explain something. Panspermia is a theory that states that we might be evolved from aliens. Look it up.
I think that Pokemon might be a result of panspermia. My evidence is the following -
1. - The existence of Elgyem and Beheeyem.
2. - The human-like egg type.
Now, here's my theory.
Elgyem and Beheeyem ; universally panned. I feel bad for them, and I found out something that I find very intriguing about them. They are in the Human-like egg type, and therefore they can mate with human-like pokemon, therefore being genetically related. There are two main scenarios ; Scenario A and Scenario B
Scenario A - A human - like being was sent out a space mission to a planet, the home of Elgyem. The ship malfunctioned, and they had to stay there, even after the extinction of all of their species on earth.
Scenario B - Humans was the first being on the Pokemon world, perhaps hinting to the fact it is possibly earth, or perhaps it was in fact a space mission. All pokemon evolved from humans, explaining the Human type, and perhaps still offering some plausibility for scenario A.
Scenario B.1
Elgyem was the first being on the pokemon world, and all pokemon evolved from it.
One thing I find interesting about my theories is that they hint to the Sinnoh myths being false, establishing them in a position similar to a religion.

Actually, they did reference this in Pokémon Diamond/Pearl.
If you go to the Canalave Town Library and read some of the books, they will say that Pokémon and humans once ate at the same table, and that there was no difference separating them.

So therefore we evolved from pokemon in the games?

No, we shared a common ancestor

Can I just say I have no idea what the pokémon you mentioned in the first post are?

Yeah, the Canalave myths are as canon as you can get with the Pokemon evolution theories

You're not missing much.

Actually, most pokemon were already there.
The humans just migrated to the pokeworld and the alien pokemon are the ons that migrated later.
Human-like pokemon are all either aliens or a coincedence.

Yeah, but then where'd they migrate from?

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Yamask yet. It's pretty much the spirit of a human.

Wasn't the last game that came out Pokémon Emerald?
No, that came out eight years ago.
Have you been living under a rock?
or cryogenically frozen?
