Why do you love Scratch?
My son loves Scratch - he's given me a tour of all his projects and his favourite projects and now wants me to write a message in the forum. So, what is it about Scratch that's so great? My boy loves it 'cos he loves computers and games and he wants to make up his own games - Scratch is a brilliant way to help him do that.

I love Scratch because it allows younger people to learn the basics of programming. Most programming languages are very difficult, especially for kids. I dabbled in Xcode (not entirely sure which programming language that is) for a while, then found Scratch. Scratch, though more limiting in what you can do, is way easier to understand.
I'm glad to see that your son likes Scratch.
I also like how everyone is nice and kind on the website (well, most people). On other fora, that is usually not true. But here, everyone is willing to help people with a problem.
