Peregrine Falcon with an unusual black streak of feathers near his eye. I could draw a picture to explain it better.
No special abilities, but has even better eyesight than the griffins and is really fast.
He's shy and reticent. He's smart.
He's not a griffin. He's a student, an orphan peregrine falcon, who was found near the Air clan's gate of the castle. Everyone at school makes fun of him because he isn't a magical creature.  He's a loner, and doesn't reveal his thoughts and feelings readily. He's the star student of his class in intelligence and speed, but the other students easily overpower him in strength exercises. He's also, although he wouldn't admit it, very eager to graduate and rise up in the ranks.
