Will the forums be down after scratch 2.0 comes out? I've heard rumors, but I'm not sure.

The Scratch Team has said that there will be a read-only archive of these forums, though it is unclear where or when (because they may not want to do this until after 2.0 is established or whatnot).
The 2.0 forums, currently available at beta.scratch.mit.edu/forums/, will be here in its place.
