The shift to Scratch 2.0 is going to be big, and a lot of people might need some help getting used to things over there. That's why the Scratch 2.0 Transition Team was created! To help you!
The Transition Team is a group of Scratchers who have been using 2.0 Beta for a while and would like to help others transition from 1.4 to 2.0.
If you ever need help with anything, just ask one of us. You can ask us here or on our studio. The studio also contains projects that are designed to help you understand some of the new features better. If you have been using 2.0 for a while you can also join.
Here are some links that you might find useful:

Hmm.. I remember asking someone a question, apparently it was deleted? Or am I bad at searching.

So you don't want potentially good feedback from new scratchers before the official release because you'd rather keep the feedback on one site...?

You could also put this in your signature, it includes a link to the studio as well as the image.

Probably because new Scratchers don't have very much experience, and most (not all) new Scratchers are very young and wouldn't even care that much.

If they have concerns they could always post here. The ST reads these posts too

I read through the forum and I think blocking out new scratchers was an honest mistake. Only a couple more days of waiting though, scratch is released on May 9th.

If I ask if I can join and have the signature does that mean I joined? P.S. I am gonna link tutorials to new scratchers to help
Pretty much, to become an official curator you have to accept the invite though.

Yes I agree, they don't have much experience, but what could they do? They can't update both databases It's too much work.

Well.. Erm.. They could have just let us put it on here?

Here? The 1.4 forums?

Put what on where? I'm confused
Well Scratch 2.0 comes out on May 9, and they will still update after that. It's not really that big of a deal.

My test account can help too! It just doesn't have a fancy signature.

Yeah...the ST didn't realize new scratchers were involved till it was 2 late...and 2.0 is being released in 9 days...so it's no longer a big deal

More like a technical impossibility, because the databases aren't connected. In fact, every time they merge them, they have to make lots of modifications to the 1.4 database, to let it work with the 2.0 site.

No I mean they didn't realized so they closed the 1.4 forum topic.

This
It's not very hard to let new users talk about it over here as well, or even have most 2.0 things here. Purely 2.0 topics can go in the 2.0 forum, but even then new scratchers might have something to say. (LS97 agrees, can't find his post right now though)
