Rosewing watched Blackkit from the nursery. she sighed contently; one day her unborn kits would be old enough to be apprentices and warriors. she purred.

"Shredkit is missing!" Thicketfur called over his shoulder to his daughter. He then focused on finding Shredkit. As he ran, he noticed a little furry body on the forest floor in a pitiful heap he touched his nose to Shredkit- he was cold.
