If you posted a comment that says thanks and you posted it again, it will say that. But I don't see why it blocked you for more than one day  ...
But you can advertise his project in your signature.

You answered it yourself. It's to stop spam, and you are spamming.

I explained above that it just checks for comments posted in the last three days that are similar. If you post two links to the Scratch website, the filter does see them as similar. You should just add some other text to it, or wait two more days.

I saw that. I was just commenting on other people's comments...
