Has anyone else noticed this?

For quite a while now (ever since sometime in 2012), the Scratch website has been very slow loading for me. At first, I thought it was just the computer, but now I noticed that I can get onto other websites (such as my favorite game site NotDoppler) very quickly. Has anyone else experienced this? (Btw, another strange thing happened a few weeks ago- in 2.0, my profile, messages, and 'my stuff' icons are way down off the blue area where they're supposed to be. It's not like this on any other computer, so I suspect it's just because my family's computer has a REEEEAAAALLLLY old version of Flash. Still, it used to work, and now it doesn't. Very strange!)

You know, now that I think about it I do have a similar problem. It's not a constant thing, but Scratch has sometimes moved a little slow for me since sometime last summer, I think.

I haven't noticed this...it may be just the increasing amount of projects and users.

Re: Has anyone else noticed this?

Scratch has kinda... limited hardware. It isn't run on the best of servers like most other sites, and there is so much strain on these that the website response time isn't the fastest. Scratch doesn't use a CDN, also, if I remember correctly, which means it's not as fast as it could be. And now with 2 websites running on the same servers, it's bound to increase.

I thought that they added some new servers.

Tip of the whatever: Don't post in threads older than 2 weeks unless your post will actually be useful.
It's the last day of 1.4! *cries* (quote from NeilWest, rest by me) by the time you read this it probably will be 2.0  sad
