Partiverse is my first Scratch project in a long time. Some of you may remember I made a pretty cool powder game like project a long time ago, the only problem was you could see the system render each "grain" of "powder"
Anyway, I am making a REALLY cool project for both Minecraft, Powder Game AND Scratch lovers!
Minecraft appears via the form of pistons, a redstone like system and the "particles" are - hopefully - 8x8 (16x16 if not) blocks. Similar to minecraft's texture dimensions.
Scratch. Well, obviously it will be made in Scratch
Powder Game. The whole project is inspired by Powder Game, but aims to be a little more blocky.
I have a quite successful test so far, with INCREDIBLE rendering speed, thanks to 2.0.
The system can currently have 300 blocks/particles, but, I'm hoping for a tweak to allow 600 or even 900.
It will be created in Scratch 2.0 and will be great!
I shall share a link later, but for now, here are some blocks I plan on adding:
Sand - added
Water - bugged out
Fire
Wood
Seed
Mud
Dirt
Metal
Thunder
Oil
So, cya later!

Wow! Doesn't this belong in show and tell or project ideas since it's a project, though?
You're right, it doesn't belong in Making and Creating since it's in Scratch. But Show and Tell is for completed projects. Topics about the creation of unfinished Scratch projects go in the Project Ideas forum. :3

If this project is going to be made in 2.0, then I guess this goes in the Beta Website's forums...

Yeah, I'm getting that kind of feeling, too. I think it might be a better fit for the Show and Tell section of the 2.0 forums for now.
