QuickBlocks

I added some useful blocks to BYOB and put them together in a project called QuickBlocks. You can download the result here, and you don't even need BYOB downloaded! (But you do need a Windows computer.)

If you have a Mac or Linux computer you can download just the project alone here, but you'll need BYOB (byob.berkeley.edu)

Stats
A total of 78 new blocks!

-7 new Motion blocks
-12 new Looks blocks
-3 new Sounds blocks
-4 new Pen blocks
-10 new Control blocks
-7 new Sensing blocks
-33 new Operators blocks
-1 new Variables blocks
-5 new List blocks
-3 new "Other" blocks

Find QuickBlocks credits here.

Tell me what you think. I hope QuickBlocks is fun and useful for you!

Macintosh or Linux download:

Re: QuickBlocks

I just updated it - A bunch of improvements have been made, including:

-The program doesn't create lists on its own randomly anymore
-The (name of costume ()) block works
-Some file sizes have been reduced
-Multiple blocks have been added

Re: QuickBlocks

Credit to...

SSBBM for the (key pressed) block, meowmeow55 for the <<> case sensitive = <>> block, the Scratch Wiki for the (round () to nearest () ) block, the exponent block, and the point towards x () y () block, credit to TheSuccessor for the play chord block, scimonster for the (what is []) block, joefarebrother for the (ancestor) and pause all until <> blocks, and of course credit to Jens and bharvey, the creators of BYOB.

Many block ideas I have used that may not be my own, but I do not list them here because they are very well known and I did not actually take their code as I did with the above blocks. But if you feel I missed something in the above list, please let me know. Thanks!

Re: QuickBlocks

The mod is very good, but the compiler does not work  sad
suggestions:
- mesh and file blocks  big_smile
- working compiler
- old effects, blur and saturation(oh and pointilize)

Oh, I know why the compiler doesn't work! I didn't include the compiler files in the .EXE that BYOB needs to compile with. I'll add them...

Re: QuickBlocks

I can't fix it...

You see, I made the compiled QuickBlocks application with iExpress, but if I try to use the BYOB compiler in the project, it doesn't work. Is their some way I can add the files BYOB needs to compile in the application or with the application?

Thanks.

Re: QuickBlocks

New update!

2 new Looks blocks, 1 new Pen block, 2 new Control blocks, and 2 new Operators blocks have been added to QuickBlocks. Also, the exponent block has been improved and can now handle negative exponents.

See the first post for the total amount of blocks!

The issue with the Windows compiler still hasn't been fixed, though. It won't compile:

Re: QuickBlocks

Lots of updates will be happening now.

I just added a bunch more Control blocks, and a few others as well. I'm going to start trying to make a BYOB compiler for Windows that works.
