Okay thanks Nomo! But wait, could I become a judge or something? I really like this contest, and I'm not gonna let writers block shove me out of the way!

I'll review it, and if you can be judge, you'll have to wait until April 23rd to start, and you'll judge round three and so on, with lund and me.

I scream for Harry, but see him nowhere. Hoping he had survived the first round of bombs, I grab Ben’s and Star’s unconscious bodies and labor up the stairs of our school’s basement.
Above, everything is gone. Everything is covered in debris. The cars, the fields, the wreckage, everything. I couldn’t tell that a school had been here just moments before. Fires burn here and there, but otherwise there is barely any light. Dust clouds cover the sun, blocking out the light.
Star stirs in my arms. I set her and Ben down, sinking down beside them. “M-mint?” my twin sister murmurs. I let the tears flow.
“Everything’s gone.” I sob, and she sits up beside me. “We’re the only ones left!”
“Mint, you can’t believe that! You’ll see, if we go back to the apartment Dad’ll be standing in front of it, waiting for us to come back. Harry might even  be with him.” Star urges. “We can leave Ben here, and find Dad and Harry. C’mon!”
“Okay.” I wipe my tears away and scramble to my feet. Taking a faltering step, we begin on our way to our apartment.
We get there in half an hour or so. There’s no life to be seen. It’s just a smoldering pile of rubble. I drop to my knees and cry. “It’s gone!” I sob loudly, and Star drops down beside me. We hug for a long time, crying and wondering what our Dad’s fate was. Finally, Star breaks the silence.
“M-mint, we have to find Harry. We both know he would’ve heard the planes coming, and would’ve gone into the forest where he’d be safe.” she says, helping me up. Just then, our demigod friend limps up to us.
“Hey guys.” He winces. We gently help him sit down on a piece of cement. “I heard the bombs and thought I should come check on you guys to make sure you didn’t hurt yourselves.”
“What happened to you?” I worry out loud. Harry gives me a weak smile.
“Just a tree. It fell on my ankle.” Harry says, pulling up his pants leg to show us. His ankle is bright red, swollen, and a bit bloody. “Did anyone else survive?”
“Just Ben. He’s still at school.” I tell Harry. “Harry, what are we gonna do? For all we know, we’re the only survivors. We might be the only living people left in New York.”
“I guess we’re just going to have to repopulate New York.” Harry says with a grin. Star and I giggle for a second, before she speaks up.
“Harry, if we had to do that, I would punch you in the face right now.” Star laughs.
“And I would catch your arm, drag you to some source of water, and throw you in.” Harry replies.

It's the 23rd by my everything, and I may be in a different timezone to you (I'm a gmt dude) but that doesn't change the date

Yes, round one ended. The way the judging will work is all three judges will submit their opinions of each story, and end with a rating. The ratings will be totaled and the winner gets full bragging writes(puns make the world go round!) and everyone who participated gets their story in the NomoReader, an online Scratch reader that I made.
