I had saw this thread a while back. It was locked since it needed to be in 2.0 which Paddle had said, but I noticed the user registered a bit too late to post there. I didn't really care at the time (though I thought about posting a thread), even though I reported and asked why, but now my own thread was locked with a message saying I needed to post in 2.0's forums, even though I can't post there.
Is there a now new way to register over there?

Sorry, you can't.
Good. But I was wondering why the mods tell us newcomers to post at 2.0 when we can't.

Oh, I realized it was my fault. It was me who reported your previous thread. Sorry, I didn't notice that you are a New Scratcher.

Oh, lol, its ok. Some other people probably also reported it. But I don't get why the mods didn't see. Perhaps they just didn't notice?

Waiting is the only way at the moment.

Though 2.0 is cool.

Yeah, sorry, there is not a way at the moment - you're just going to have to wait for the release of 2.0.
As for telling people to post there when they clearly can't - that's an error. We should probably just say wait for the release, then provide feedback after everybody is on one site.

So you don't want potentially good feedback from new scratchers before the official release because you'd rather keep the feedback on one site...?

They will ignore the flag if they disagree that the post should be flagged. : )

That is not Paddle2see's point. Paddle2see said that people should just tell them wait for the release, then provide feedback. That doesn't mean that Paddle2See is preventing good potential feedbacks.

The whole point of a beta is to get all the feedback and glitches in before the release. That's not possible once the site is released. I know it's said that development will continue after the release just as much as before, but that's probably not going to happen and those who can't provide feedback now probably never will.

they can just post it on this site or contact the ST privately....
If we post on this site, it gets locked, and if we contact the ST, we might not have to email to do it with, or we might want comments instead of a private message (like ideas for a suggestion).

I'll post it for you if you'd like.

There are a few options here.
* You can ask an older Scratcher to post it there for you.
* You can kindly remind us that you cannot post on the beta, and i'm sure other mods will agree that it's OK to give feedback here in a case like that.
* You can contact the ST using the contact us form.
* You can add something to the bug tracker (http://scratchexp.media.mit.edu/).
