Cool game. It's very original and fun to play too.
All I can suggest is having more bit more variety in the maze - different routes, keys to open doors, teleporters?

Thanks! I'll try different routes. Having the clouds in the same format as the other backgrounds can get boring. I will also try to add a teleporter.

That's the right attitude! 
Trying out things you've never done before is difficult, but one of the best ways to learn.
If you've got any problems writing the code, there's plenty of people here to help you out, myself included.
