so ridiculous
how do projects where some cat is bouncing around dancing to some random japanese song get so popular, gosh! now its just dance projects. why do people think its amazing its not. mabye im gonna get a lotta haters for this, but i dont care. masked and longpatrol are my friends. but this is just annoying. do you guys agree? sorry if i offendened anyone but honestly i cant take it anymore. what has become of scratch and variety?

HI pinochio! This is rediculous i totally agree. I'm taking a ton of quotes from this subject and making it into one huge protest. 
So far I have:

Why is it poplular? Because almost everyone likes cats and drawing. And I personally think that everyone who does those stupid cat things are annoying, and have no idea how annoying it is. I really don't want to see drawings, more drawings, and even more drawings on the front page. It's just so stupid, dumb, and pointless. If you're wanting to draw, just join some art website where there's nothing but art. It's just plain annoying. Scratch is for programming, not drawing a picture and adding some song everyones heard of already.

I AGREE. Most of the projects I see that get so many views are the ones that are either those drawings, animations, or remixing projects. My goodness, I've probably seen the same thing drawn or remixed over and over AND OVER AGAIN! Those projects keep piling up and seem to undermine the other projects that are actually better! MUCH BETTER.
I'm sorry, but I really don't care whether anyone disagrees with me. Yes, I like to draw too, but this is ridiculous. How do these impossibly shallow-depth things get on the front page? I don't know how it's possible. It's almost the same thing with the hampsters, the Tokis, the Anthros, Warriors, etc., etc.
I mean, if you can make it GOOD like what such people like DreamCaster and ChaoticD had done, and not overloaded the server, that's fine with me. I wouldn't care if there were something like that on the front page. But the things I see are not interesting and don't seem to belong.
If you go to the last page of one of Kongregate's game genres, you'll see these projects that look inane and boring. Well, the people who worked on them probably put more work into what they were doing.
DON'T OVERLOAD SCRATCH. PLEASE.
Lol, I may bother to come to this topic again. Placing it in favorites. ;D

This is what I feel like some days. Like once I asked Masked why she puts that little drawing with her name on it in all her projects, and I got all these people who obviously misinterpreted that as "OMG I HATE YOU MASKED GO DIE IN A HOLE" and flagged my comment.

I just posted this on Maki-Tak's project that's on the front page: "I'm sick of this. It's pointless, stupid and dumb. If you want to draw, just join DeviantArt or something. It annoys all of the other Scratchers. Scratch needs games, not pointless videos like this. I'm so sick of it."
