Messagenotunderstood: FindToken

I'm running a school's lab PCs in a LTSP Edubuntu network and the Scratch install is giving me this error at brightlearning dot org/error.jpg every time I try to save a project, import one, or export.

Scratch can save it to this site's online storage but I haven't been able to reopen them.

I installed the script through the Ubuntu Software center but strangely it never created a link to it in Ubuntu's menu. I got it working only by going to the installation location (usr/share/Scratch) and dragging the scratch.img icon to the desktop

Any ideas how to get this working? I am hoping to have it available for class at 1:00 eastern

Re: Messagenotunderstood: FindToken

We're running 1.4 (the December version).

I'm starting to think this is a path issue because of the way LTSP and the clients work. Each user is running scratch on the server and are supposed to be storing the projects in their own individual "home" folders (but as stated - saving only produces errors).

I am wondering where the initial path is configured in Scratch so I can check it.

As I mentioned, if/when I start it from the menu (created when it was installed) all anyone gets is a blank white screen. It appears to be the right location in usr/share/scratch folder though. It doesn't seem to make the correct path. As I said, if I drag the scratch.image file found there to the desktop the program works, except for saving

Re: Messagenotunderstood: FindToken

If you mean the MIME warnings, you can ignore them, I get them too and they probably aren't even scratch related (it just rebuild the MIME db and warns when programs use undefined types)

Re: Messagenotunderstood: FindToken

Check your version(requires Ubuntu 12.04) also if this doesn't work create projects@http://beta.scratch.mit.edu (use your account there to save) (requires Flash for linux)
