Tiki-Tekkit [24/7] [Tekkit Classic] [Much More!]

IP to be announced

Tiki-Tekkit is an upcoming Tekkit server with beliefs that everybody should build amazing contraptions in a great community.
Thanks to our Tiki-Craft players JJabba and Dj_Poemaster, we gained a 3gb Server with 70+ Player slots, so there is room for everybody!

Server Specs:

Dedicated RAM: 3GB
Maximum Players: 76
Gamemode: Survival

Building Information:

You may have noticed the name is 'Tiki-Tekkit.' This was just a name we fancied; you don't have to build your creations in a Hawaiian theme, just build them how you like.

Don't build right up next to someone's house (unless in spawn town or another town) as they wouldn't like it and you will both have limited mining space. Any inappropriate structure will be WorldEdited away and in most cases you will receive a ban.

Rules:

The rules are the same as the majority of other servers, but we like to just keep it down to 1 rule, use common sense. Don't do anything stupid and be good  wink  This includes spamming, griefing, hacking and being disrespectful. As long as you don't do those thing's, you'll be fine.  smile

Woo woo woo woo! Can't wait! Is this the tekkit that the yogscast used to make a Jaffa factory? Soon you'll have a Tiki-Network of servers! Will our ranks from TikiCraft be transferred to this server?

Sounds awesome! I don't like Tekkit that much but considering Tiki-Craft is my favorite server I'll probably join!

If you want something to do while Scratch is down, check out tbgs.tk! It's the new version of the (closed) Scratch TBGS, run by Scratchers! I'm going to spend most of my time there, anyway.

Yep, it's Tekkit Classic, the same the Yogscast used for thrir Jaffa Factory. I'm not sure, we could either copy everyone's ranks in or start on completely new ranks, I'll discuss it with Zeus and Alfi.

I'll be staying more on the normal Tiki-Craft side, I prefer normal Minecraft over Tekkit.  tongue

So every non-staff member will be set to the equivalent of Lonely Peasant? Are you going to use a time played plugin (actual time on the server) or time since you started?

Why are you using Tekkit? It's totally deprecated now, use FTB instead (newer MC version, more/updated mods, etc.)

About the ranking system, we only have one player rank while we get things started.

Tekkit has less mods, it's outdated, and very few people use it anymore.
FTB has 10x more users. I might end up playing if you use FTB, but i've already made a vow to never EVER to use Tekkit EVER again.

Apparently your tekkit version is not up to date. It tells me to get Computercraft 1.33, ccTurtles 1.33, IC2 1.97 and Railcraft 5.3.3, which are older versions than I have. I am definitely using Tekkit Classic.

Due to some issues we have been having recently I have decided to make the move to Tekkit Lite. From now on you must login with the Tekkit Lite client and please, for compatibilities sake, make sure you are using the latest Technic Launcher. You will know your on the right one when there is a bar on the left to choose your mod and NOT a dropdown box.
