That's all that I know of. I have given each of us a trophy that is entitled "Scratchers (April 2013)" on our LD profiles. If I find out that any other Scratchers are in the dare, I will also award them the trophy.

I don't think so, only something done for fun. You are, however, required to release your source code if you are entering the compo. Not so if you're just doing the jam (which has relaxed rules)

Lol, I think you may have gone a little crazy with all the awards, there.  tongue  Also, I see your blog post. I guess it's just the newest posts around the community?

Well, I'm not over doing it on awards unless I give like 10 to 1 person.  tongue

Such a thing is not possible! You're only *really* giving out awards if you're the only person on the awards bar  wink

Also, I see your blog post. I guess it's just the newest posts around the community?

Yep, the blog is a compilation of everyone's posts. On your page you'll have just your own stuff: submissions, posts, and shiny trophies!

Anybody making a practice game? I'm making one except now the computer broke D:

It'll be fixed in time for the real dare, but I don't think that means any more warmup time.

11 DAYS!

bye 1.4, we all loved you. but we all outgrew the site. 2.0 is a welcome change.

No time, and any free time I do have will be continuing work for OnSchedule. I hopefully can get an HDD ordered in time for the Dare, though.

So that's the new method? Last time I voted there was a bracket-like thing. I'm not sure I like this as much, though...

Theme Slaughter is to reduce the 2000+ themes into something more manageable, then there's regular voting.

Re: Ludum Dare speed programming event - are you in?

Okay, the more traditional voting is in place now.
I have a computer part (HDD) ordered, hopefully it arrives before LD so I can use that as my machine. (although it would require setup from the very beginning) Do I see right that it will start at 10:00PM EST on Friday? That would give me a few hours after school and then an hour or two to begin work. If not I still will need to prepare my workspace and I'll plugin my laptop and go dual monitor. But I'll definitely need to clean the area. XD

Lol, what was the old one? XP? Win7 isn't that bad.  tongue  People say the company is getting worse but it's still good IMO. As long as it's not Vista. xD

The OS of the old one changed with the seasons  tongue
First it was XP, then I got fed up and ubuntuized it, then crunchbang before I finally went "you know what? this computer is too * slow to use." and bought a new one

I can tell you that it's nothing like this however

Also, now that I look at the Round 2 voting page I secretly want the theme to be "Potato"
