Make 2.0 open for every one!

I am annoyed that Scratch 2.0 is only for members who joined before 1/16/13. I didn't join very long after that, and it's just unfair. Seriously, new people want to share stuff on Scratch 2.0.

Unfortunately, due to how the system works, this can not be implemented.

How the system works is that they copy the database from this website over to the new website whenever there is a major milestone. However, when they do that there is significant downtime and the more times they copy data the more likely stuff is to get lost. So, unfortunately, they can't copy the database over again to allow users that registered after January 26th without some serious risk.

It's not like the ST doesn't want everyone to access 2.0.

It's just a lot of trouble that they don't do often. 1/25 was the last time they did.
