Okay here's a poem I just found while digging through my old folders:
Anchorman
by [lolol banana's real name goes here]
I am an Anchorman
That is my dream!
I will not be disconcerted
By the laughter and the screams.
I am an Anchorman
And I shall succeed!
Fame and fortune, etcetera!
It’s all I’ll ever need!
I am an Anchorman
None of you forget!
All of it will be payed off:
My blood, my tears, my sweat!
I am an Anchorman
And you’ll bow down to me!
My manly voice and my amazing hair,
I’ll be worshipped from sea to sea!
I am an Anchorman
Nobody shall deny!
If anyone might disagree,
I’ll break down and cry.
I am an Anchorman
That is my dream!
I’d better wake up before
I pop like a seam.I can probably date this to when I was ten years of age.
Man I was a terrible poet.Oh yes
The Trials of A Rufflebee :'(
what are the trials of a rufflebee

Here is part of a topic where I dumped all my poems, before I saw this.
If a creek is cold,
Oh so freezing in the winter,
And oh so pleasantly warm,
In the summer,
Why is it,
That one human does not change,
According to the season?
Yeah, more serious and deep-thinking. Here's another:
I wake up
For the long day ahead
I leave for my obligation
Depressing to my head
I must go to my home
The place called my own
And repeat the cycle again.
But why is it
Things are like this
If robots are only science-fiction?
Heeh, paradoxes...(randomness! )
I am climbing
Climbing to my victory,
The place I want to be
And live and prosper
And I grab
For what I think is the last hold
And grasp nothingness
I tumble down, down
Into the deep dark clutches of depression
Where I am no longer accepted
And can no longer be
And the fall
The fall lasts forever
Until I thud on the ground
And lay there
Forever

Gone Forever by NoxSpooth
When I cried
Nothing happened
When I screamed
No one listened
My happiness has died
But nobody cared
What I've dreamed
Has already disappeared.
There's nothing I can say
I don't know what I've done
It's getting worse everyday
So I'll just be gone...

Sometimes by NoxSpooth
Sometimes...
When nothing goes right,
When you can't see the light,
Through the darkness of the night...
Sometimes...
When all you feel is pain,
When your tears are like the rain,
And your hope seems to drain...
Just stand up,
And don't give up,
Even if it's all messed up,
You can fix it up.
Some day,
You'll find your way,
You won't throw your life away,
When you see the day.

i still want to know!!
also ed sent me some poetry
i decided that maybe if i cried enough
drank enough
cut off enough of my hair
let my cuts heal
[maybe change my name to “francine”]
she might come back to me
i can hear her calling my name sometimes
eddie eddie
eddie
and if i listen long enough
i can hear the songs she wrote
screaming with all of the air there is
in her lungs
gasping and shrieking with noises
hardly musical to anyone but me
because she doesn't have as much breath
as she has feeling
i wonder who there is
to listen to her songs now
eddie eddie
eddie
i've tried to replace you
with work and school and books
[and bottles]
but nothing seems to matter
as much as you did
and i can't figure out why

Hey, guys, I'm new here! My name is Ashley and I'm eleven... I love to write stories, and poetry! Imma post some here. XD
BTW, you guys are so good at writing!
"The Sidewalk of Life"
false people who
write their names in chalk letters
vanish when it rains
"April"... Dedicated to Janice who was almost my aunt.
he hates his job
he hates his life
he wishes that
he had a wife
they said there was no hurry
but there was one
and now there's none
she died on april twenty-one
"The Magic Stone Garden"
steal past the iron gates
to find a treasure no-one hates
the crystal stones of pomegranate
and the berries of polished granite
each brown quartz potato
and glistening ruby red tomato
a wondrous sight
glimmering in the sunlight
come and take anything
to fashion for yourself a gold or a diamond ring
there are riches eveywhere
but in the end no happiness in the air
it is all so beautiful but yet it is meaningless

Waffle27, thank you for the welcome! I love waffles, haha!
Anyway, I am an avid writer and I am working on my first novel, which I hope to publish before I am in seventh grade! I may post some of it later... nonspoiler parts, of course.

That's very cool! I love meeting other kids who like to write. I'm very creative, which is why I joined this site... Maybe I'll make some Scratch projects soon!
Anyway, yes, I'm very ambitious! My Mom says I can probably self publish my novel.

The idea of being published is awesomeness. XD Are you a novelist, too? I read your poems, they are very good!
Thanks, but I'm not really a novelist, I actually write poems when I'm bored.
