So, I've been helping iaomeur with graphics for his 'The Dot' series, and I soon thought: 'Why don't I make a platformer?' So that's what I'm doing.
This platformer, Bit Runner, is quite unique, but I think I can pull the most likely complex scripts off. Basically, there are multiple worlds, each with some levels within them. Each level contains a square object called a pixel, which is one solid colour. There is a kind of art gallery in the game, with a picture frame for each world. As you collect bits, they will appear in a frame depending on the world that the pixel was obtained in. It will be in a seemingly random place in the frame. As you collect the pixels in a world, you will see a pattern emerge. When you have each pixel from a world, the picture frame will be full of pizles, which again, are just squares of one solid colour (but they aren't all the same colour). These pixels will form a picture! Pixel art, to be exact. There will be a peice of artwork for each world, and some bonus pictures, where the pixels are scattered around various worlds' bonus levels. Can you complete every picture?
The games art will be all pixel art, with sprites enlarged to show off the pixels.
Any thoughts?

EdgeGamer, I gave you an idea in the Idea Shop.

cant wait for this game! Maybe you could add a cool feature like a shop where you can collect gold pixels throughout the game to spend at the shop to change appearance, ability and bonus pictures? that would be awesome. Plus multi-player would be awesome too. Hope its not to advanced XD

Thanks! I may have sort of left the file in another computer so there might be a delay unfortunately... Still, please give ideas! I like the idea of Gold Pixels!
So how's it going Edge? Has got the same sorta controls as 'the dot', like wall jumping and hanging? Really can't wait for this though!
