maybe it's just me being lazy but i think this would be helpful!
if i like someone's project sometimes i want to browse through their stuff but then! i have to go back to their userpage omg (hard work)
or use that little sidebar thingy, but i tend to want to look through a good number when i do this and i forget which page i'm on and then i get annoyed!
so basically just a <previous - next> thing you can click
but uh yeah i dunno other sites like this have this so maybe something consider?

i was thinking how cool it would be if you could just use the arrow keys but then i realised that scratch actually uses the arrow keys lol

Have you checked out 2.0 yet?
In 2.0, there's a hidden channel that you can bring up at the bottom of the Scratch webpage when you visit a project page (it will say "more projects by [username]"); this hidden channel shows a good chunk of projects created by the project creator (based on newness and modification date). Now, it doesn't address all the issue you mentioned - It doesn't show all projects, and the channel does start at the beginning when visiting another project page - but it does address being able to easily browse through multiple projects at once without having to go through the user's page.
