I just wan to be a member of the scratch team how can I?

You can't.
You have to be EXTREMELY tech savy, at least 18, a member of MIT, and they are not looking for them right now.
You can, however, try out to be a curator for a week here.
Also, I would suggest using better grammar or a better explanation. Going "I just wan to be a curator how can I" won't work.

If you don't even have many posts and you're barely a Scratcher I don't think they'll let you in.
It's not to do with that.
The scratch team are a group of extremely talented computer coders who have studied programming for many years and work at the MIT. They all (probably) have very good qualifications. Unless you fit that discription then you are almost definately not going to become part of the scratch team. You could, however, become a mod (I think) if you've been on the site long enough, proven to be very helpful and active and are completely trusted by the scratch team.

Not true.
Paddle2see and Cheddargirl are both members of the Scratch Team, but they are not students at MIT.

The Scratch Team met them at conferences, but this was a while ago when they needed more moderators. Currently they are only [sort of] looking for developers, and those need to be students at MIT.

I don't think you can. I think you have to be one of the Scratch creators to become a part of the Scratch team.

They've stated this several times throughout the site.
I believe scmb1 is the same.
Also, some members (like Lightnin) are hired staff who no longer attend a school.

Well, almost the same. Like Paddle2See and I, she's not physically located at MIT. But she was doing some stuff at MIT previously prior to becoming an ST member. So when the ST needed more members, they asked scmb1 to join based on her website history and previous experience.

But you can be a contributor to Scratch, almost like Scratch Team
Here are the chances:
If you're 13+ you can apply and be a moderator
You can apply to be a curator
You can apply to be a Scratch Wiki editor
You can be a SDS curator (when SDS needs more curators, they'll look, and if you contribute to SDS great enough, they might invite you)
And others!
Scratch on!

Wasn't cheddargirl a mod before she became ST?
She was a regular scratcher, then a moderator, and then ST. So you're right.

Well, for one, you'd have to meet the age requirements. You'd also have to be a student at MIT, or you would of had to be in the past.
If you are aiming to contribute to the community, great! You do have plenty of other options.

So, I guess if you were a really good mod then you'd get upgraded to ST?

If you're a really good mod, they're looking for new ST members, and you fit the criteria they're looking for in a Scratch Team member, then sure
