Or you could do Camilla reads monster attack in the paper, decides to attack it by herself, Trevor follows

The something could be that she goes to the circus to free a tiger, and Trevor gets captured by something. In the next chapter, they have to go to find him, and when they do, some people find out about them. They get put on the front page of the paper, but nobody recognises what they really look like.

idea: the ancient race(i will refer to them as Atlantians  ) are an ancient race, and the ancient power makes them invisible to all mortals. ??

i think the captured idea works. so does mine, but whatever.

you don't really need it. it doesn't make you start anywhere. you can start ur story however u want.

but, here it is.




Ethan sat on the couch in his room, using the X-Box he had modified as a programming console to insert lines of code into the program he had created on his laptop. Then he pressed a button, activating it. He got up and went to the chair by his computer. He checked the site he had made for bugs. It was an e-mailing program, so secure that the FBI could probably barely hack into it. Then he took out his cell phone and texted the others, telling them to download it and make an account. Then he waited.

Ethan sat on a fallen log at the campsite, practicing changing colour to blend in with the log. He had already set up his tent, and was waiting for the others. Then he heard footsteps approaching. He rolled down behind the log, shifting colour to green to blend in. he dug out the ground under the log to make a hole. He looked through it. Seeing only the others, he got up, shifting back to normal form. The others jumped at his sudden appearance.
“Hey, guys. Did you bring your gear?”
“Yeah.”
“Yes.”
“Uh-huh.”
“Then let’s get set up. We’ll test out the powers later.”
Tents were set up, sleeping tents laid inside, food was unpacked. Then they started. Ethan practiced aiming fireballs, flying, and sword fighting with Camilla. Ula practiced talking to squirrels and bugs. Mel practiced turning into canines. Camilla practiced turning into a tiger and other big cats. Trevor practiced turning invisible, teleporting a few feet, and aiming electricity. After a few hours, they were all exhausted. Ethan panted as he walked back to the tents with the others. When they reached the campsite, he shot an orb of ice energy at the end of a short stick, using the resulting frozen stick to cool himself down. Then he passed it around. When everyone was cool, he tossed the stick into the pile of sticks in the center of their half-circle of tents. Then he then he found a twig, summoned a ball of fire, and lit it. The glowing orb dissipated, and he tossed the twig into the pike. After a minute or so, a fire took hold. They sat there for a minute. Then Ethan reached into his tent and pulled out a pot and a box of macaroni & cheese.
“Ready for dinner?”
[whoever] prepared the macaroni & cheese, and everyone told ghost stories. Then the dinner was ready.
    Halfway through the macaroni and cheese, a noise came from the forest. Ethan quickly froze the fire, quenching it, and rolled into the bushes, changing colour and instantly disappearing. Trevor retreated into his tent and turned invisible. Everyone else froze. Then a grizzly bear lumbered into view.  It growled at the scent of humans. Then it caught sight of all the food in the box on the ground, and started walking towards it. Ula growled. The  bear froze looking at her. Then it growled. Ula replied, seeming to be asking it to leave their food. Then the bear’s face took on an angry look. Then it raised a paw to swipe. Instantly, it was faced with a wolf, a coyote, a tiger, and a boy with palms that crackled with electricity. Ethan remained hidden, in case they needed reinforcement. The bear growled angrily and lumbered off at the sight of the dangerous-looking creatures. Everyone exchange high fives. Then they resumed eating. The rest of the night was uneventful.

Once Camilla knew that everyone was asleep, she decided that she would go out to get some fresh air.
"Great" she thought "I wish they would stop!"
She made her way through the shrubs and transformed into a tiger.
"This way," she thought "I will scare them more."

One million things seemed to be running through her mind at the moment. Especially when she had heard everyone else's powers.
"Ula," she thought "Ughh"

She was where she wanted to be. Carnival music ran through her ears, rats scurried over pop corn and the smell of the hot food. In the middle of all this was a huge tent that contained what she feared most. The tent was red and yellow, and hundreds of people were running in there just before the show was about to start.
"I remember now. I 'm a tiger now. I can't just barge in normally!" She thought.

At the back of the tent, all the performers practised until they were dizzy. The animals were whipped until they finally completed what their masters were telling them to do.
"This is terrible!" She thought as she watched all the animal cruelty laws being broken in front of her. "I'm putting a stop to this!"

As she was formulating a plan, she noticed a tiger who was trapped in a cage that was clearly to small for her. Over the other side of the practice room was her cub who was being hurt by the stronger animals.

She was just about to help when she heard a familiar voice.
"Camilla! Is that you?" someone whisphered.
"Trevor! What are you doing here?"
"I saw you going out of camp, and I came to see what you were doing."
"You have to get away. There are strong people here who will hurt you."
"You seem to know everything about here!"

Tears welled in her eyes.
"That's my business." She whispered abruptly.
"I'm helping you."
"No!"
"You are very stubborn! Aren't you!"
"Fine! You can help!"

Camilla quickly explained the plan to Trevor.
"Ok, lets go!" Trevor said.

Trevor walked confidently to the centre of the room.

"Hey what are you doing here kid?" One of them yelled.
"Let's get him!"
"Yeah!"

They all surrounded in the middle of the room to witness the fight between Trevor and a man with a Hulk like figure.

"Good" Camilla thought "I hope he doesn't get hurt though."

She made her way over towards the big tiger.
"Come on!" she whispered to it "Lets go!"

The tiger tried to get out of its cage with the help of Camilla, but couldn't get out.
"Great. Tranform! Lion!" She thought.
Camilla was no longer a tiger, but a lioness.
"This should be easy to claw through now!" She thought.

She transformed back to a tiger and the big tiger got out of the cage.

"Now for the smaller one." She thought.

They both sneaked across the room to the small tiger. They grabbed him, and mother and cub ran out of the room, unnoticed.

"Now, come on Trevor!" She whispered.

But Trevor was no where to be seen.

She looked everywhere, but he was gone.
She sprinted as fast as she could back to the camp. When she arrived she screamed "WAKE UP!!!!!!! TREVOR'S BEEN CAPTURED!! ETHAN, MEL AND ULA! WAKE UP!!!"
"What?" Ethan said groggily.
"TREVOR'S BEEN CAPTURED, AND ITS ALL MY FAULT!!"
