I don't know exactly, but if one thing helps a lot, it's practice. Play around with the blocks and try to make cool games and projects with your best effort, I'm sure your projects will seriously improve.

T_s don't feel bad, and whatever you do, DON'T QUIT! My stuff used to be really, really, horrible. I have gotten better, and I've been curated! SO keep on trying, improving your stuff, looking at others work, and keep a positive attitude!
Wow, that sounded like a happy-go-lucky speech.

I hate to sound rude but you shouldn't just come to the forums expecting us to make you good at Scratch. You need to practise, did you expect us to say anything other than that? No. That's all we can say, so why you even posted this topic I do not know.

download other's stuff, that should help you see what to do but whatever you do do not copy! My stuff used to be lame to, you can see i have a page of a load of garbage on my page, but i looked at other's scripts and remixed platformer bases and now my stuff is better. try your best.

You'll get better over time. Look at my first project:

Just cuz it's 3D doesn't mean the scripting is better. My newest has moving enimies that couldn't have programmed when I started scratch.
