I noticed that spam accounts on scratch are elevating. Therefor, I have created this post.
This post is for telling the scratch team what to do about the login page to prevent spam bots.
Just post your ideas on this post and I will list them with your name and we will see if the Scratch team picks one!
Thanks!

The Scratch Team is finding that Captcha is a bit of a struggle with users, so while it's an interesting idea, they're not jumping for it as a solution against spam bots.
Currently, they're looking into alternative ways that would distinguish whether or not it's a human or a bot trying to sign up for the site (yes, there are other ways besides Captcha ). If I'm not mistaken, they're trying to see if they can work on a code right now that aims towards that goal.

Add a hidden text field when registering (hidden with JS or something) that if not empty, will autoban the IP. Label it something like "Confirmation (do not put anything in!)". Spambots always will try to fill out everything.
