Help With Minecraft Beta
I have no idea how to download or play online Minecraft 1.9. I have version 1.5.1, but everyone I watch on Youtube are using the 1.9 / 1.8 version. I would love to know how to use Minecraft 1.9 and I have zero ideas how to. Please help!

You can't play the old versions of Minecraft anymore, sorry. The videos on Youtube you are watching are probably old, when Minecraft 1.8/1.9 were the newest versions.

Or, you can download old minecraft jars from the internet, I've found some on dropbox. It is illegal if you have not bought minecraft but since you have, its perfectly fine.

Actually it's illegal, there's no way to verify whether or not the person downloading it has bought Minecraft.
Just use MC version changer or MC nostalgia.

Thanks for your help. I would like to know, though, whey in the Beta versions it has MPC's (iron golems) naturally generate. Also, why can't we use the equipment like rings and gloves? Is it only in the Aether mod?
