oooooohhhh. how about multiple monsters attack? my idea so far is that Ethan and Mel get attacked by a huge metallic ant, like a greek myr-something, then they have to defeat it together.

Sorry illustrations are taking so long D: I have so much stuff in RL going on. I will see if I can cut away some sleep tomorrow to get my collab duties under control.

You don't have to cut away from your sleep! Real life is more important.

D'aw, I feel responsible though. I guess I will try to finish it on Saterday. I have some sketches, good ones of Epher and Coil (If I can get my camera to work o.o)

Yay! I can't wait to see Epher.

@Dserp--So, is that directly from the hall fight, or a little after? I'll write it like its after school for now, then if need be I can add a transition in there.

Okay, lol. And she's in the library, so she's going to throw books that dont do anything to the ant. Is the ant metallic or what?

Re: Arabian Nights--A Writing Collab for Future Authors

Alright, this is what I have so far (Her going to the library):

As soon as the final dismissal bell rang, the hallways were crammed with the usual after school traffic. Friends were hanging at lockers or texting each other from down the hall, most people were chattering about the fight in the morning. Mel however was carrying out her normal routine and heading upstairs to the school library.
She walked home, and her dad always expected her at around 4:15, fifteen minutes after the library closed.
“Hello, Mel, how are you today?” If librarians were allowed to choose favorites, Mel would be Mr. Morris’s. Every day after school, Melody came to help sort books, laminate covers, or sometimes just read quietly. He never asked, Melody just did. It was part of her daily routine.
“Fine, Mr. Morris, how are you?”
“Swell,” Mr. Morris said, returning to his computer, where he was methodically scanning books. Melody set down her backpack and  meandered among the bookshelves, searching for an unfamiliar cover.

May have more tonight, idk. It turns out its one of those math assignments where you have to think, so by the time I finish my homework, itll probably be time for me to go to bed. Well I'm suposed to be in bed right now, but not exactly suposed to. Never mind.

since Mel and Ethan fight the ant together, how about Ethan is in the library reading a book? if your doing that, he would be reading Advanced Robotics or something.

Re: Arabian Nights--A Writing Collab for Future Authors

Here is what I now have so far. Should it switch to Ethan's point of view after this?

Time flew, and before Mel knew it, Mr. Morris was picking up his bag. “I’m leaving, Mel. It’s 4:00. Are you good on your own?”
Mel nodded. “Yeah, I’ll be fine.”
“There’s another kid in here too, but he should be leaving before too long. It’s that new boy from Canada.”
“Got it,” Melody wasn’t really paying attention. She picked up a book and casually read the back cover. “Is this new?”
“Came in last week. Want me to check it out for you?”
“No, no, that’s okay. You can leave. Trust me, I’ll be back tomorrow.”
“Alright, if you’re sure. But someone else might check it out before you do.”
“Oh well.”
“Bye, Mel, see you tomorrow.” Mr. Morris said, hiking his bag farther up onto his shoulder, and leaving. Mel took the book, and sat down at one of the comfy chairs. Discreetly, she looked over the cover of the book at the new boy. Sure enough, it was the very same kid who had beat up Tony that morning. She contemplated going over and introducing herself, but decided she was too shy. Melody skipped the introduction and flipped right to the first page of the book. Soon, she was stuck in the magical world of Lexi and Damian, two unordinary heroes with unusual powers.
It was so riveting; she at first didn’t notice the noise coming from the hallway. When she did hear it, she just assumed it was the new student leaving. Finally, she thought, the entire library to myself!
But when she happened to glance up, she noticed the boy, eyebrows knit together, gazing worriedly outside. He dropped his book and rushed out to the hallway. Melody moved her gaze with him. What she saw made her drop the newest book in the library.
Outside was a giant ant.
