Linux Version Still coming by year end?

Hi,
A question for the scratch team...  Is Scratch Linux still on it's way by year-end?  We use Ubuntu and my family loves scratch, but sound doesn't work running under wine.  We also followed instructions to use the scratch image natively with squeak, but some of the visual effects don't work properly that way.

I sure hope the Scratch team is still working on it. But its December 28, nearing the new year.

Unfortunately, the Linux version is behind schedule. I can't give you a good estimate, but it is one of the things we will be working on in the next several months.

I'm not sure why sound is not working for you under WINE. Others have said that it does. You might check your sound settings.
