Owlstar felt himself being pressed down to the ground by Chirpthroat, and instinctively protected his throat and belly with his paws. He didn't struggle until Chirpthroat had pinned him down completely, having placed all his weight on his front paws. Using his size as an advantage, Owlstar easily threw Chirpthroat off with his hind paws and got up instantly. "You lose caution too quickly... Don't give away your weak spots so easily," he chuckled, waiting for Chirpthroat to attack again.

Owlstar raced through the forest in search for prey. This seemed to be a bad prey-day - nothing could be smelled. And to top it off, Owlstar was very excited about the News. He didn't even notice when he crossed the DarkClan borders.
