Okay, I recently discovered the song "£1 Fish", and I want to use it in an issue of EpicMag. The only trouble is... it's British, and I'm American (as you can see from my page.) Would it be considered odd if I used it? Or can I?

To be honest, that is kinda silly question.
That's pretty much asking if American's don't like British stuff.
I love Doctor Who, but that's not awkward. Who DOESN'T like Queen? They are British, same with Black Sabbath. Led Zepplin is also overseas from us.
Pretty much, no one will find it odd if you use British music.

Yeah, I don't think it's silly. I mean, people use Beatles songs all the time.

Since the internet and information revolution, ideas spread around the world very quickly, and it wouldn't be unusual for people from one part of the world to like music from another part

it's made by a pakistani immigrant that lives in britain, so it is indeed from britain

I'm Australian. I listen to Beatles (british), and Simon & Garfunkel (american) etc.
It's not odd. Music doesn't matter where it comes from, it's all good if you like it.

We'll, it's not odd. But I think I better hear my own country's traditional music. Well, to be honest, I enjoyed music from Europeans, such as Waltz. Many peoples do that
