I love drawing both traditionally and digitally. I love my Bamboo Pen tablet- it comes in handy. I use Corel Painters Essential 4 on the computer- It came with the tablet and is a very advanced and amazing program. I must say, however, my art just doesn't do the program justice. x3

I am pretty proud of my art, but I draw on paper so there isn't anything I can do to show it.
I can't draw digitally at all, GIMP bamboozles me and So does photoshop.
(Unless it's pixel art, like under 500 pixels)

it's actually not too hard to photograph drawn art, i had to do a bunch of it for a portfolio thing a while back. really it's just a matter of lighting, angle, and contrast, and for most of them i ended up editing the contrast and levels anyway
really the worst case scenario is it's a little hard to see

Uh so I've done quite a bit of art lately but unfortunately my scanner is being mean to me so I can't upload it.
I'm more of a traditional artist, my digital art skills have never been so good. I can't really even draw a proper picture with MS Paint. I have Photoshop but I mostly use that for graphical design much less artwork, sometimes I color the hand-drawn stuff I do but I'm usually more of a black-and-white kind of guy.
The traditional art that I do is mostly done with pen or ink. I rarely use pencil and sketch on occasion, mostly while doing hair or something like that. I used to primarily use pencil and do various forms of shading, such as gradients. Later though I adopted ink and now almost always use that. I don't have any fancy pens or anything, I simply use the ones that you can find at CVS or something. My shading style is usually hatching, because I think it ends up looking awesome.
What I actually draw really comes at random. I do a lot of fan art, especially for things like Homestuck and Pokemon. I'm more adept at doing cartoon-style art, I'm capable of realistic drawings but prefer not to. I'm also a surrealist so a lot of my drawings come off as strange and sometimes even creepy.
Where I'm okay at digital art is on my iPad, somehow I'm able to create some average cartoonish draws with my bare fingers (no I don't have a stylus, I'm practically fingerpainting).
The two apps I use on iPad to do art are Adobe Ideas, which is ideal if your art style is more cartoony, which is what mine is, and Procreate, which has a variety of different brush types and is great for more full-fledged digital art that looks like real paintings on canvas.

guys? this is a scratch thread. images don't need to be perfect polished quality. you can take a picture of some paper and people will understand that it's a picture of paper.
here is a picture of a drawing i made during a study of drawing with your non-dominant hand. i took this picture with an ipod and then sent it to myself and messed with the contrast and levels to make it easier to see. sure the lighting of the picture is a bit uneven but you can tell what i've drawn come on just POST YOUR ART

it's not the best, but it's not like scratch is the pinnacle of quality control
"small figure sketch"
"it's not the best"
C: excuse me my finished drawings are worse than your sketches
C': sad for me heh.
how long have you been drawing?
also have a pernese dragon head that took way too long to draw and has no anatomic sense.

I <3 art. XD seriously.
I like drawing both on paper and on the computer. Drawing is easier because I have a tablet with a pen and stuff. I hate coloring stuff though, so I like to draw on the computer more. I'm decent at cats and humans. My bunnies are mediocre. I CAN"T DRAW HORSES. EVER. TOO HARD.

Very nice! Try using darker values that are different hues than the base color c: Give it more mood with warm/cold colors used in shading and highlighting...This is definitely a huge improvement over your earlier stuff, awesome job
