Here's a simple post where you can share your nicknames for your beloved pocket monsters. No vulgar or offensive nicknames please!

My team:

Serperior Lv.78: Ripvine (little play off of "the word "riptide".)

Hydreigon Lv.79: Orochi (A little obvious of a nickname, but I love it anyway)

Crobat Lv.79: Grodus (Grodus of the X-nauts. Paper Mario TTYD anyone?)

Lucario Lv.78: Regal (Named after Regal Bryant from Tales of Symphonia)

Starmie Lv.78: Nova (That weird space-clock thing from Kirby Super Star)

Chandelure Lv.79: Dante (Dante Alighieri, enough said)

Other pokemon I must give a shout-out to:

Cradily Lv.66: Cthulhu (It has tentacles around its face, too easy.)

Zangoose Lv.65: Aigu Clou (According to google translate, french for "sharp nail", which he has many of)

Scraggy Lv.1(Yeah I know, he isn't EV trained yet): Tyson (The famous fighter Mike Tyson. I could've gone with Norris or some joke about him being the hoodlum pokemon, but it was too cliched)

Beldum Lv. 1(Same boat as scraggy): Adamantine (Yes, there are many things called adamantine, but this was named after the legendary demon ore in Patapon)

My male Rapidash is named Poland.
My male Emboar is named Snort.
My female Zororak is named Stalker.

That's all I can remember.

i generally just name them something sarcastic about their shape or nature, like "plant", "dish", or "tree". also sometimes i use human names.

Graveler: Cragalanche (could not fit the e on) Chapter 11 boss in Uprising
Slugma: Magmoo (Kid icarus fire monster)
Magmortar: Phyronn (I don't actually like him)
Dusknoir: Reaper (Could have called it hades, because he's the bad guy in MD with Grovyle not actually the true badguy and the "hades is the real final boss" thing.
Yanma: Chaos Kin.
Houndoom: Twinbellows ( both fire dogs.)
The next two I don't actually own:
Hydreigon: Hewdraw ( three-headed dragon, heads don't get along well.
Darkrai: Gaol (Chapter 2 boss, (Dark Lord Gaol would not fit)

I had a female Cyndaquil (in the sinnoh region... hmm It was from my two brothers typhlosion's egg. It knew Cut, Eruption, Flame Thrower, and Tackle when it was just Level 1, but that is beside the point, although awesome) If it was a boy, I would've named it Red, but all my other Pokemon were just pretty much Torterra, Staraptor, Togetic, etc.

Yanmega looks more like chaos kin though. Would have called my Lunatone "Arlon" if it was not called Mr Bright (the moon in Kirby) I prefer Kid Icarus to Kirby, so I might change my Lunatone's name.

Gulpin: Guttler
Would have named my Moltres after the Phoenix if it was not called "Fawkes" (Dumbledore's phoenix) and if it had a better name.

Name a togekiss Pit

Phosphora fits Luxray the most as long as it is female.

Dark pit works well on a Gengar, but if you want to have fun make Pit a Clefable.
